Lush Christmas Haul

Hiya Guys!

I am finally posting my Lush Christmas Haul and I am extremely excited about it, if there are two things I love the most it's Lush and Christmas so when Lush release their Christmas products I get so giddy. If you follow me on Twitter you will have seen that a few weeks ago I tweeted about going a little over the top in the Manchester store, I think I picked up every Christmas bath product that they had in store without hesitation.

So without anymore blabbering on here goes...

Sparkly Pumpkin - Bubble Bar

Before I get started with all the Christmas products I just thought I would share the one Halloween product I bought. I know it's no longer available to buy online but I just wanted to share it because it's extra cute. If you pop into your local store they may still have a few of these left and if so I would say to pick one up.

I am so glad that it doesn't actually smell like pumpkin because personally I can't stand the smell but it's more of a fruity scent, if Autumn had a scent I would say this is it! Some of the main ingredients in this Bubble Bar are Juniperberry, Grapefruit and Lime oils, just crumble a piece under running water and your bath will be filled with lovely bubbles and your water will be a gorgeous sparkly deep orange.

Luxury Lush Pud - Bath Bomb

You can already tell just by the picture how amazing this bath bomb is going to be. Look at the colours! I think this one especially would be lovely for children as all the colours burst in the water and create a rainbow in the bath.

It has a very relaxing scent to it in a way that's not too in your face such as something like the Snow Fairy sweet candy scent. It's perfect for if you need to unwind with the Lush website stating that it's main ingredients are 'Lavender Oil' which is 'Balancing and Calming', 'Benzoin Resinoid' which is 'Warming and Sweetly Perfumed' and 'Ylang Ylang Oil' which is 'Sweet, Heady and Floral'.

Star Dust - Bath Bomb

I love this bath bomb, I know I'm going to probably say that for all them but this one is just so aesthetically pleasing. I just love how simple it looks whilst having a little surprise inside.

When you pop this in the bath it has a lovely fresh scent to it which isn't overpowering at all. Although it looks like a regular plain bath bomb after a couple of minutes of being in the water you will see little colourful star confetti start to appear. It would be so magical for children as well as any adult I would say, I aren't going to lie I was excited when I saw them. The Lush site advises that the main ingredients are 'Rosewood Oil' which is 'Antiseptic and Uplifting', 'Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute' which has a 'Sweet and Comforting Scent', and 'Bergamont Oil' which is 'Uplifting and Cleansing'.

Snow Fairy - Shower Gel

This is hands down 100000% my favourite Lush product EVER, I just wish they would sell it all year round. So when it comes to Christmas time I always stock up and have done for so many years now.

If I could recommend only one product from the Lush Christmas range it would be Snow Fairy. It has the most amazing candyfloss and sweet scent ever and is also glittery - what more could anybody want? Also once you've come out of the bath or shower after using this product the scent remains on your skin leaving you smelling incredible. I honestly cannot say enough about this product and would highly highly HIGHLY recommend everyone to try this product out.

The Magic of Christmas - Reusable Bubble Bar

The name of this product is such a perfect description, it looks so magical and literally looks like Christmas on a stick. And not just any stick, this Bubble Bar is on an actual cinnamon stick! What else says Christmas than gold glitter, cinnamon and red ribbon?

This is a reusable Bubble Bar which means all you need to do is either hold it under the running tap or swish it about in your bath tub and the bubbles will create themselves and as the name says this can last up until about 5-10 baths I would say depending on how much you use each time. It smells like the typical spiced Christmas scent which I love and just makes you want to cosy up in bed afterwards with a hot chocolate and watch Elf. The main ingredients in this product are 'Almond Essential Oil' which is 'Sweet Smelling', 'Cinnamon Leaf Oil' which is 'Warming, Spicy and Stimulating' and 'Sweet Orange Oil' which is 'Refreshing and Uplifting'.

Dashing Santa - Bath Bomb

This is one of the more fun bath bombs from the Christmas selection with how he looks but still smells incredible and creates a gorgeous gold and red bath.

When you pop this guy in your bath you instantly see the gold sparkle coming from his boots and presents which goes so nice with the red colour. I will be saving mine for when we are really close to Christmas to get me in the Christmassy mood (although I'm already in it slightly). Not only do the amazing colours uplift your spirits but so does the fruity scent - this is from the two main ingredients 'Mandarin Oil' and 'Bergamont Oil'.

Cinders - Bath Bomb

Cinders is another one of my Christmas favourites, although Snow Fairy is my favourite scent I love spicy scents around the winter months.

This is basically a cinnamon bath bomb and smells like Christmas to me. I love the whole spiced apple and cinnamon scent whether it's in air fresheners or candles and I will buy anything with that scent when it comes to the winter months. Oh and just to make this a whole load better it has popping frikking candy in it!! Yes the 12 year old in me gets very excited by things like this but I just how it makes the water fizz. Lush have stated that the main ingredients in Cinders are 'Almond Essential Oil' which is 'Sweet Smelling', 'Cinnamon Leaf Oil' which is 'Warming, Spicy and Stimulating' and 'Sweet Orange Oil' which is 'Refreshing and Uplifting'. These are the same as The Magic of Christmas Bubble Bar.

Bar Humbug - Bubble Bar

Bar Humbug looks like a tiny, glittery and purple version of The Comforter but it does not smell anything like it. If I'm honest I'm not a huge fan of the scent, it smells of liquorice and if you're a liquorice lover this would be perfect for you but I'm not that keen.

Although it does create a gorgeous colour bath and the name is just amazing ha! The main ingredients which are stated on the Lush website are 'Fennel Oil' which is 'Cleansing and Brightening', 'Bergamont Oil' which is 'Uplifting and Cleansing' and 'Tarragon Oil' which is 'Balancing and Relaxing'.

Snow Angel - Bath Melt

I can't actually say that I have tried a bath melt before so I'm very excited to try this one out. I've done a bit of research and all you do is pop the whole thing in the bath and just leave it to dissolve into the water and it will leave you feeling super soft and moisturised!

It has a really soft sweet scent to it which smells very calming, alongside the fact that it's a bath melt I would probably suggest this is product for when you want to unwind. One of the main ingredients in this product is 'Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter' and that is one of my favourite ingredients within a product, there is nothing better than coming out of a bath or shower and feeling really soft and moisturised.

Father Christmas - Bath Bomb

This is basically Snow Fairy in a bath bomb, I don't think I need to say anything else following my little rant about Snow Fairy up there ^

Although what I will mention is although it's a pinky colour it turns your bath an amazing vibrant green colour and look how cute it is? I would definitely recommend this bath bomb just because I'm obsessed with the Snow Fairy scent.

Holly Golighty - Bubble Bar

I lost a berry :(

But other than that this is very pretty Bubble Bar, it would make a lovely present. But let me tell you now you will get glitter EVERYWHERE when you touch this - it's a nightmare! Apart from that when you crumble this into your bath not only does it create amazing bubbles but it leaves your water smelling like Christmas spices and a gorgeous green glittery colour. The main ingredients as stated on the Lush website are 'Clove Leaf Oil' which is 'Warming and Stimulating', 'Patchouli Oil' which has an 'Exotic and Earthy Aroma' and 'Persian Lime Oil' which is 'Uplifting, Protecting and Refreshing'.

Yog Nog - Bath Bomb

Now even though Yog Nog is from the Christmas range it really reminds me of Bonfire Night, it just has a scent of toffee and not in an awful sickly way either. In a 'Ooo this Bath Bomb smells like Autumn' way.

It's extremely creamy and frothy when you drop it in the bath and leaves your skin feeling amazing. Two of the main ingredients are 'Organic Shea Butter' and 'Soya Milk Powder' which both moisturise and soften your skin in the bath.

Peeping Santa - Bubble Bar

I think everyone can agree that this is 100% one of the cutest products from the Christmas range, just look how cute this little Santa is!

This Bubble Bar is one for those who are fans of fruity/sweet scents, how I would describe it would be the 'typical Lush scent' and if you're new to Lush I know that doesn't help but I feel that this has a very familiar scent to other products I've bought from Lush previously. What I especially love about this product is that the middle cream section is Cocoa Butter so mixed in with the bubbles would be amazing. It also makes your bath bright red and it looks so fun!

So White - Bath Bomb

This looks like any old bath bomb but it's far from it. When you pop this into your bath it fizzes away and leaves your water a beautiful pastel pink colour.

The scent of this bath bomb is very floral, quite like roses and to be honest I'm not the biggest fan of floral scents but this isn't too overpowering - it's just a nice fresh scent. Some of the main ingredients include 'Rose Absolute' which is 'Balancing and Restorative', 'Neroli Oil' which is 'Uplifting and Toning' and 'Orange Flower Absolute' which is 'Intensely Floral and Uplifting'.

Magic Wand - Reusable Bubble Bar

And the final product I bought is another one of the Reusable Bubble Bars so like The Magic Of Christmas this is one which you just swirl around in the bath or pop under the running tap and it creates lots of bubbles.

Now if you're a fan of Snow Fairy you will love this, as it has the extremely sweet candyfloss scent to it which personally (I'm sure you can tell by now) I LOVE! Imagine having a bath with this, the Father Christmas Bath Bomb and Snow Fairy Shower Gel - holy crap that would be the bath of all baths. I just think not only are these lovely products to have in your collection but they make gorgeous presents as well.

Well that's it for my Christmas Lush Haul and if you've got this far I congratulate you because I know I can witter on a bit but I just love Lush and could talk about it for days.

As always I hope you enjoyed the read and please let me know what you think.

ELF Cosmetics Haul

Hiya Guys!

Recently ELF (Eyes Lips Face) Cosmetics have re-launched their website and I placed a little order. I only ordered a few things as it seems I placed my order before the official re-launch so there wasn't as many products available, but I thought I would still share my purchases with you guys.
For those who haven't heard of ELF before it's on online cosmetics store. I personally think it is VERY affordable - although the prices have gone up with the new re-launch it is still very affordable. But with slightly higher price come better quality products.

Studio Contouring Brush

I absolutely love contouring and for so long I wanted the NARS Contour Brush which is around £40.00 and when I saw this I added it to my bag SO quickly. It works great with either cream or powder and gives such a perfect contour.

I use this alongside my Benefit Hoola Bronzer and I am obsessed. It is such a high quality brush, I haven't had any shedding when using it and it washes really well. Also I just love how it looks with it's matte handle and just looking simplistic. It is definitely worth buying and for such a good price you can't complain.

Clear Brow and Lash Mascara

This is my life. If you know me well you will know I have used this brow gel for about 2-3 years now, it is INCREDIBLE.

After you've applied your brow products whether it's wax, pencil or powder just brush this through and it will set your brows and keep them in place all day. You have one side for eyebrows and one for eyelashes, I just use both for brows but it's up to you. For the price you really cannot go wrong at all - I always bulk buy these because they are literally my number 1 brow product. Highly recommend.

Crease Brush

I have recently started getting into eyeshadow, I used to just be a winged liner girl but I've started experimenting more with colours so thought I would get this brush to add to my collection.

This is such a good brush for defining the crease and is the perfect size to make sure the colour is precise and doesn't end up all over your eye! It is also fluffy enough to blend your eyeshadow out and does a really good job of it too. Like the contour brush it doesn't shed and washes really well. If you are new to make up and are looking to try out different products and do some experimenting I would recommend the ELF brushes as they are such a affordable price.

Lip Lock Pencil

This is basically a primer for the lips and it actually works. I'm always a bit iffy when buying lip primers because all the ones I have used before have never actually worked, they were more like lip balms.

What I do is apply this product to my lips and leave it sink in for about a minute or so and then apply my lip liner and lipstick. This product keeps your lipstick in place and prevents it from feathering, even with the darkest lipsticks. I am glad I bought this and will definitely re-purchase when I run out.

Ultimate Blending Brush

This is the last product that I bought from ELF and is the 'Ultimate Blending Brush'. I use this for my liquid foundation and I love the finish it gives.

When I first got into make up properly a few years ago I used to use the 'Powder Brush' for my foundation and I would swear by it - that was until I found Real Techniques! This is like a better version of that brush. If you are looking for a lighter coverage of foundation you can use this brush to buff the product into your skin. Or if you like a more heavier coverage like I do I tend to push the product into my skin and then buff it in.

That's it for my ELF Haul, if you see something you like and buy it let me know what you think of it, hope it gives you some ideas. I've got a HUGE Lush Christmas Haul coming soon which I am very excited about, so keep your eyes open for that. As always I hope you enjoyed the read and please let me know what you think.
