Lush Cosmetics Haul

Hiya Guys!

On a recent shopping trip to Leeds I thought I'd pop into the new Lush store to have a nosey around and I was also running extremely low on bath products which obviously gave me an excuse to splurge.

After spending a considerable amount of time looking around the store and chatting with the lovely sales assistants I finally picked my items to purchase. I thought I'd share them with you guys so you can see which are my favourites and what is currently in the stores!

The Comforter - Bubble Bar

The Comforter Bubble Bar will hands down always be one of my favourite products from Lush! I'm sure many of you know how the Bubble Bars work, you break a piece off and crumble it under the running water and it creates the most gorgeous smelling bubbles and for The Comforter the most gorgeous coloured bubbles as well.

This product will last you at least 5 baths and once you get out of bath the scent remains on your skin smelling amazing! The Lush website advises that it has 'Cassis Absolute' which is 'Comforting and Fruity', 'Bergamot Oil' which is 'Uplifting and Cleansing' and finally 'Cypress Oil' which is 'Calming and Toning', I can definitely agree with them statements, although saying that I would say all Lush products make me feel like this! £4.75

Honey Bee - Bath Bomb

Another favourite of mine which I will religiously pick up every time I visit Lush is the Honey Bee Bath Bomb. The smell isn't too overpowering it's just lovely if you want a nice relaxing soak and it leaves the skin feeling super silky!

According to the Lush website the reasoning for this is due to the ingredients. This product has the following ingredients - 'Honey', 'Rhassoul Mud' and 'Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel' which all help with moisturising and softening the skin. £3.35

Sakura - Bath Bomb

This Bath Bomb is one I haven't used before but couldn't help but buy it as it looked and smelt amazing!

The Lush website says that calming 'Mimosa' and 'Jasmine' oils have been used in this product, complemented by 'Lemon Oil' and 'Orange Flower' which would explain the amazing smell. I can't really say much more on this product as of yet, but I will update on Twitter with my thoughts when I use it. £3.35

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment - Bath Melt

If only you could smell products through a screen! I absolutely LOVE the scent of this bath melt, it has to be one of my favourite scents. The sweet/candy smell is to die for, any product that has that scent I will always be suckered into buying.

The fact that this makes your skin feel super soft and silky as well is another winning point! Your bath will be a lovely pink colour filling the bathroom with a scent like you're in a sweet shop and it will leave your skin gorgeous and soft! Lush use the following ingredients in this product - 'Fair Trade Colombian Cocoa Butter' (which would explain the silky feeling), 'Marshmallow Powder', 'Almond Oil' and 'Chamomile Powder'. I would definitely recommend this product if you are new to Lush as it's an all time classic in my opinion. £3.95

Butterbear - Bath Bomb

Another product that I haven't tried before but look how cute it looks! Who wouldn't want to buy this? Again I can't really give my personal opinion yet as I haven't tried it but I will pop some info down which is on the Lush website.

According to Lush the main ingredients in this product is 'Cocoa Butter' so this will create a gorgeous creamy soft bath which is great for nourishing the skin. £1.95

Creamy Candy - Bubble Bar

You will see a pattern starting here, again another product that has the candy floss/sweetie scent this time in the form of a bubble bar. So when crumbling this product under running water to create bubbles they will all have the gorgeous scent which will be long lasting on your skin.

Just like the Butterbear this product has 'Cocoa Butter' as a main ingredient as well as 'Almond Oil' so leaves you feeling extra moisturised! The Lush website also advises that it has 'butter chunks that melt to the surface of the water' so if you're wanting to come out of the bath feeling velvety soft, this is the Bubble Bar for you! £2.75

Dragon's Egg - Bath Bomb

The Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb will create the PRETTIEST and most spectacular bath you have ever seen! That is why it's a product I will 100% purchase every time I visit Lush. It looks like a regular plain white bath bomb but once in the water has different colours inside which all fizzle out. When I say fizzle out you can actually hear it, crackling and fizzing away. Such a fun bath bomb!

The ingredients included as per the Lush website are - 'Lemon Oil', 'Bermagont Oil' and 'Jasmine Absolute' which all give it the gorgeous citrusy smell and then a touch of Popping Candy to add to the amazing-ness. £3.35

Candy Mountain - Bubble Bar

The Candy Mountain Bubble Bar was a product that was being demonstrated at the store I went to in Leeds which was the reason I picked it up. Again by the name you can probably tell why I fell in love with it, it has a gorgeous sweet candy smelling scent and turns your bath very bubbly and very pink which is obviously why it was straight in my basket.

Again I haven't tried this product in the bath yet myself but I will keep you posted on Twitter with what I think. £2.75

Tea Tree - Toner Tabs

And last but not least I bought two of the Tea Tree Toner Tabs. Whenever I'm having a 'bad skin day' or just want to pamper myself I always use one of these. I usually just pop them in a bowl of boiling water whilst resting my head above it and it releases the steam to open up my pores and make my skin in general feel a lot better. £1.00

Well that's the end of my first blog post, after years of contemplating and wanting to make a blog/YouTube channel I have finally done it. I may start with the YouTube videos but I'm going one step at a time for now.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Let me know what you think please, I would love to hear your opinions and there will be a lot more to come in the future.
